For young people who want to stay active, learn how to move through their environment, and develop better control over their own body, we offer freerunning training in Zierikzee. Freerunning Zierikzee is a training group for participants aged 8 and up. During our sessions, participants gradually learn different freerunning techniques such as vaults, precision jumps, and flips. Control and personal development are central to everything we do. The training sessions take place at the Feel Fit Center in Zierikzee, in collaboration with Delta Sport Gym, of which we are a part. Our training sessions are conducted in Dutch. Freerunning is a sport where you learn to move through your environment using your own body. Think of jumping, climbing, turning, rolling, and using obstacles as part of your movement. Freerunning includes a variety of techniques such as vaults, precision jumps, and flips. Some movements focus on efficiency and control, while others are more creative or acrobatic. Together, these techniques form a way of moving quickly and fluidly through your environment, without the use of equipment like a skateboard or scooter. At Freerunning Zierikzee, we train participants aged 8 and up step by step in these techniques. We always start with the basics: safe landings, shoulder rolls, and developing control over the body. From this foundation, we gradually build up the training. As participants gain more experience, techniques are combined and new movements are introduced. We also make use of our wooden freerunning parkour, which allows us to challenge participants beyond what is possible on a standard gym floor. Still unsure? A trial lesson is always possible. You can simply drop by during one of our training sessions — no registration required. Our training sessions take place at: Feel Fit Center Zierikzee Training times: At the moment, Tuesday is busier than Monday. New registrations are therefore preferably placed on Monday, so that everyone has enough space and guidance. More information about registration Since early 2025, we have a specially built wooden freerunning parkour by Brick Parkour. With towers up to 2 meters high, bars, low walls, and precision blocks, this setup provides a realistic freerunning experience in an indoor environment. Here, participants train vaults over walls, precision jumps between blocks, and combinations of techniques. Participants can also challenge each other by setting up speed courses and finding the fastest routes together. This unique parkour adds an extra dimension to our training sessions that we are proud of. We are always looking for enthusiastic trainers to strengthen our team. Are you at least 14 years old, sporty, and comfortable working with participants aged 8 and up? Then we are looking for you. Experience with freerunning is a plus, but not required. We will teach new trainers the techniques, the structure of our training sessions, and how we approach guidance during lessons. What we value: You will receive appropriate compensation for your efforts. Interested in becoming a trainer or want more information? You are welcome to watch our training sessions. We kindly ask you to take a seat in the stands. The stairs to the stands can be found in the hallway near the changing rooms or at the main entrance. Entering the training area is only allowed with permission from a trainer. We also ask that your son or daughter goes directly to the changing room upon arrival and remains there until the training starts, unless instructed otherwise by a trainer. Freerunning Zierikzee is part of DeltaSport Gym, an established gymnastics organization in Zierikzee. We make use of their professional facilities within the Feel Fit Center. This allows us to train in a well-equipped and structured sports environment. DeltaSport GymWelcome to Freerunning Zierikzee
